Often times there are blockages that occur when we are attempting to accomplish our goals. People seem to come out of nowhere with ways on how to breath when meditating, how to lose weight, how to run better, and the list goes on. Consequently, I have discovered throughout my journey to chose wisely the advice provided and decided which is best for me and my lifestyle. I realized that I have the free will to compartmentalize what is best for me and what is not. I have also realized that the end results are for my highest good.

I have now learned to call this Trusting the Process. I can be the first to say it's not an easy task. No one wants to hear trust the process when they are going through anything that causes stress especially, grief. I mean, what person says to someone who has just lost a loved one, to trust the process? Is that something you say to a person waiting on a job or waiting on their hair color to process? By the way, waiting on your hair color to process is very stressful. Either way, when dealing with grief, trusting the process is the last thing a person wants to hear. But what if I told you, although you may not want to hear feedback or advice on your grief; those words are true words said to help begin the process of healing. Some things in life are inevitable.

Unfortunately, losing is apart of our human journey. There where moments built over time that was a process that formed a trust or the lack thereof, love or the opposite thereof was all a process. We all have to face the loss of loved ones, employment, people, places or things. All of these moments are apart of learning to trust the process while understanding that no matter what you face it is OK, it will take time to heal. Giving ourselves permission to trust the process. Everything is OK.
